Shower Curtain Bid Spec Sheet Fabric and Vinyl

Cubicle Curtains

How do I determine my curtain height?

Measure from the track to the floor. Typically curtains hang 12-15” off the floor. Deduct this floor clearance from the track to floor measurement and that is the finished curtain height.

Is what you show all that is available?

No. These include the most popular patterns, colors and sizes, however we can custom manufacture any size you require and are happy to provide swatches for alternate color and pattern selections.

What is cut vs. finished width?

Cut width is the width that is stated for the cubilce curtain. The finished width is always narrower to allow for the hemming and seaming of the material. This is usually not an issue if adequate fullness is added to the track measurement. If you need a specific width you must state it as "finished width" and then we will make it to the desired width. This may move the pricing to the next cut width category. If there is any question please check with your customer service specialist.

Mattress Protectors

Are bed bugs really a serious problem?

Bed bugs are on the rise all over the world, having increased 500 percent over the last three years in the U.S. alone. Pest control professionals report infestations in hotels, multi-family housing, apartments, and hospitals. Although mostly eradicated in the U.S. around World War II, the current resurgence is attributed to an increase in international travel and immigration combined with less frequent use of strong pest-killing products.

They hitch rides on luggage, backpacks, shoes, or any other mobile material. One may find them hiding in small cracks and crevices in human environments including along mattress seams, within box springs, bedsheets, nightstands, headboards, upholstered furniture, lamps, picture frames and luggage.

Bed bugs quickly move from one bed to another and prove especially difficult to control in hotels, apartments, dorms, or other buildings with a large number of beds. Bed bugs do not transmit diseases, but their bites can become red, itchy welts.

Are your mattress protectors fire retardant?

Our SofCover fabric received a "B" Classification to meet the American Standard ULV-O Burn Test requirements, which resists smoldering cigarettes. Our SofCover material was tested to CFR Title Part 1632 (FF4-72) Standard for the Flammability of Mattress and Mattress Pads – Ticking Substitution Procedure Part 1632.6. This federal mattress flammability standard requires that all mattress pads be cigarette-ignition resistant, effectively extinguishing three burning cigarettes before they burn the length of one inch.

Our KleenCover fabric received a "C" Classification.

Can mattress protectors provide allergy relief?

Allergy treatment professionals recommend allergen barrier encasements for your bedding as your first line of defense for dust mite allergies and asthma. Encasing your mattress, box springs and pillow protects you from inhaling allergens that become airborne from your body's movement in bed.

Our mattress protectors protect against dust mites, mold, bacteria and other allergens. We offer non-allergenic encasements for your mattresses, box springs and pillows. Compared to standard hypo-allergenic mattress covers & encasements, the smooth SofCover and KleenCover fabrics offer a variety of advantages

  • Impermeable to dust mites and does NOT trap or harbor dust mites and their allergens.
  • Convenient to wipe down or lightly vacuum to remove allergens between washings.
  • Resistant to the flourishing of mold and bacteria in the mattress, decreasing the population of allergy inducing spores.
  • Breathable, so moisture is wicked away from the body for greater comfort in both hot and cold environments.
  • Waterproof for protection against spills and fluids.
  • Lightweight and launders like a sheet, resulting in less saturation and bulk when wet.
  • Comfortable, noiseless, and soft to the touch, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Over 50 million people in the U.S. today are affected by airborne allergens such as dust mites, mold, pollen and pet dander. Those who are prone to allergies can suffer from itchy skin, hay fever and other allergic symptoms because of the dust, pollen, and dust mites that are present in their beds.

Allergy sufferers may find it hard to get a restful night’s sleep because microscopic dust mites thrive in our bedrooms. They are possibly the most common cause of perennial allergic symptoms including sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, nasal stuffiness, runny nose, stuffy ears, respiratory problems, dermatitis and asthma.

Dust mites are microscopic, sightless, eight-legged arthropods that are natural inhabitants of indoor environments. These pests are found throughout the house and thrive in high humidity and in areas where human dander is located such as mattresses, pillows, bed covers, upholstered furniture and carpeting. Their droppings break down to an extremely fine powder and stick to these indoor materials. In fact, you may be sharing your bed with up to one million dust mites, which could be triggering your allergic reactions.

Does the Sofcover or KleenCover fabric make those annoying "crinkle" noises?

Absolutely not. Our Sofcover and KleenCover fabrics are smooth and soft to the touch. The waterproof barrier is very light weight and stretches with the fabric. You will not hear any annoying "crinkles" while you are moving around in bed.

How can the Sofcover and KleenCover fabrics be waterproof and yet breathable?

Our SofCover and KleenCover fabrics incorporate a hydrophilic surface that allows smaller heat and vapor molecules to pass through, but prevents the passage of larger water molecules. This means a leak or spill would not pass through to your mattress, but the fabric wicks away the moisture on your skin to keep you dry and comfortable as you rest or sleep on SofCover or KleenCover mattress protectors.

How do I put the mattress protectors onto my bedding?

Directions for the Superior Application:

Apply the Protector onto the mattress with soft side to the outside with the laminated side on the inside. The Laminated side should touch the top of the mattress and the stretch non-laminated slides under the bottom of the mattress.

Directions for the Classic and the Simplistic Application:

What bed bug testing certifcation do you have?

Our Kleencover® and SofCover® materials in Superior, Ultimate styles have been independently tested by a board certified entymologist to offer reliable protection against both bed bug bite and escape. Our Boxspring Protectors also provide the necessary entrapment protection to keep bed bugs from getting in or out. Certification at this high a level required not only the right material, but also the patent pending zipper with "The Hook".

Testing was conducted with live bed bugs over a 4 week period to ensure effectiveness against not only bed bugs, but their unhatched eggs. To summarize, at the conclusion of the test period there were ZERO bed bug bites through the specially laminated material and ZERO bed bug escapes.

To view or print the complete test results please see "Documents."

What is the difference between The Ultimate and The Superior since they are both Bed Bug Certified?

The "Ultimate" offers 6-sided waterproof and bed bug "bite-proof" protection and is available in specific depths to match the depth of your mattress: 9", 12", 15" and 18". If your mattress does NOT have pillow-top construction, warranty maintenance instructions may require you to both rotate and flip your mattress routinely - this can be accomplished with the Ultimate Mattress Encasement while remaining in quarentine. The "Superior" fully encases your mattress and provides waterproof and bite-proof protection on the top and along the side panels. A stretch-knit fabric is used along the bottom of the side panels and across the underside of the mattress allowing for penetration-and-escape proof protection and stretches to fit mattresses up to 18" in depth. If your mattress has a pillow-top construction, warranty maintenance instructions may include rotating , but not flipping your mattress periodically thus allowing for the option of the Superior.

Whether you choose The "Ultimate" or The "Superior" mattress encasements, we recommend encasing your box spring with the Stretch Knit Box Spring encasement and your pillows with the Pillow Safe encasements for complete protection and peace of mind.

Why should someone use mattress protectors?

Our Superior and Ultimate mattress protectors save money, time and are effective. They.......

  • Protect and Salvage Your Expensive Investment In Bedding. A minimal investment in our mattress encasements can prevent the loss in the heavy cost to replace this value.
  • Address Early Detection of Infestation. By applying our mattress and box spring encasements before any signs of infestation, you will minimize the available areas to nest and lay eggs as well as provide the means for an easy detection of the presence of bed bugs.
  • Prevent Initial Infestation In Mattress and Box Springs. At least 70% of bed bugs colonize the mattress and infrastructure of the box springs. If there is an infestation, our encasement eliminates the opportunity for bed bugs to find a home.
  • Stop the Spreading of Bed Bugs. When trapped inside our encasement, bed bugs and hatchlings are subjected to starvation and prevented from escaping and spreading.

Shower Curtains

What is the difference between cut width and finished width?

Cut width is the width that is stated for the curtain. The finished width of a fabric shower curtain is always narrower to allow for the hemming and seaming of the material. A vinyl curtain will be narrower if it is seamed. This is usually not an issue if adequate fullness (20% minimum) is added to the rod measurement. If you need a specific width you must state it as "finished width" and then we will make it to the desired width. This may move the pricing to the next cut width category. If there is any question please check with your customer service specialist who will be happy to assist you.

  • For concrete ceilings: Drill holes and use plastic anchors and screws
  • For Drop ceilings (following grid work): #10 sheet metal screws

Note: Full information is provided on the track installation sheet.

Do I need a professional for installation?

Typically, tracks and curtains are able to be installed by your own maintenance staff.

How do I change carriers?

Each track should be finished with an end stop. The end stop has a snap out removable piece that unscrews to allow access to add or remove carriers.

How do I cut the track to fit my installation?

The track can be cut at the job using a hack saw to provide a custom fit.

How will my track be received?

Track is precut in 8 foot straight lengths. Bends are a total of 3 foot either 45 degree or 90 degree. There is 18” of track length on each side of the bend. Splice plates are used to connect straight pieces together to achieve additional straight lengths or are spliced to a bend to form the configuration required.

What is the track made from?

Our track is aluminum that is anodized to prevent oxidation of the aluminum.
